Meeting: Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 14-15 December 2015

A meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council took place on 14-15 December 2015. The following topics were discussed:

+ Fishing opportunities in 2016 for member states applicable in EU waters and, for EU vessels, in certain non-EU waters. Ministers were expected to decide on the maximum quantities of fish from specific stocks that can be caught in that sea, as well as the fishing effort limits;

+ Exchange of views on sustainable agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the bio-economy;

+ Update on the state of play of the proposals relating to the supply of fruit, vegetables bananas and milk in schools.
