Meeting: Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 11 April 2016

A meeting of the Agriculture of Fisheries Council was held in Luxembourg on 11 April 2016. The conclusions included the following items:

+ Information by the European Commission on the developments concerning agriculture sectors facing particular difficulties, like the pig meat, dairy, fruit and vegetable sectors;

+ Information on the implementation of measures listed in the presidency conclusions on market situation and support measures, agreed on 14 March 2016;

+ Exchange of views on a regulation to improve the conservation of fishery resources and the protection of marine ecosystems;

+ Update on the discussions on a regulation to improve the collection and use of data in the fisheries sector.
