Marine fuel rules could cost billions, analysts say

On 21 August 2012 EurActiv reported that European Union vigorous effort to reduce pollution from ships will require from the shipping companies billions worth investment on filter technology and from refineries on upgrades to produce cleaner fuels. Industries claim that the cost is far too big.
