Limitation of emissions from medium combustion plants: the Council agrees its position

The Council of the European Union reached on the 17 December 2014 a general approach on a draft directive on the limitation of emissions of certain pollutants into the air from medium combustion plants. The aim of the proposal was to improve air quality and human health.

There had already been discussions on this issue during the Environment Council of June 2014 [click here for more information].
