Joint statement by HRVP Mogherini and Neven Mimica on the latest developments in The Gambia

On the 21 January 2017, the will of the Gambian people wasbeing respected and the way for President Adama Barrow cleared.

The positive and peaceful outcome of the post-electoral stalemate in The Gambia was the result of extraordinary regional and international coordinated efforts with ECOWAS in the lead.
