Police again clashed for a second time in a week with demonstrators in the Italian Alps over the construction of a new high-speed rail link with France between Turin and Lyon, 2 July 2011.

France and Italy signed a deal in 2001 to build the high-speed line and open a more modern, faster transport link between two of Europe's biggest economies.
