The far-right nationalist Jobbik party in Hungary won its first ever individual constituency seat in the Hungarian parliament after a by-election held on the 12 April 2015.

Commentators suggested that Jobbik, appeared to have gained political ground from the ruling party Fidesz of Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
