High Representative Mogherini meets with Foreign Minister of Iran, Javad Zarif

On the 21 September 2016, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini, met with with Foreign Minister of Iran, Javad Zarif, on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly Ministerial Week in New York. They discussed mainly the bilateral relations between European Union and Iran, but also the situation in Syria.
