Greece praised for swift structural reforms

International inspectors from the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund said that Greece had made a strong start in implementing austerity measures to curb its debt crisis, August 2010. One official said he was confident Athens would now receive the next instalment of a rescue package.

The mission for the next programme review is scheduled for October, 2010.
