Gobal emissions scheme talks renewed

The European Commission announced on 2 December 2014 that talks on a global deal to reduce flight carbon emissions had been resumed, after countries which initially blocked those talks were now willing to cooperate.

The negotiations have been led by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
