A meeting in Warsaw between German chancellor Angela Merkel and Polish prime minister Ewa Kopacz on 27 April 2015 celebrated close ties in the context of Worls War II memorials and the death of Polish statesman Wladyslaw Bartoszewski.

The meeting, which also brought together both cabinets, was also the 13th in a series of bilateral 'consultations'. According to EurActiv, those talks were more difficult regarding the issue of the German minimum wage, which had an impact across the border.
