France to push for financial tax at Berlin meeting

EU Member States remain divided on the idea of a tax on financial transactions (FTT), with France prepared to legislate unilaterally, Germany and Italy calling for an EU-led approach, and the United Kingdom and Sweden opposed unless there the FTT was introduced in a co-ordinated global fashion.
