Finland to test unconditional basic income for Finns in 2017

Media sources reported in December 2015 on the debate taking place in Finland over the possibility to introduce a basic monthly income for its citizens by 2017, a universal and inconditional payment.

Finnish authorities aimed to reform the welfare system and cut spending through this measure.
