A meeting of the European Council took place on 25-26 June 2015 in Brussels. The focus was on migration. Leaders focused on relocation, resettlement and return policy. They also highlighted a forthcoming Valetta Conference with countries of origin and transit in Africa. The heads of state or government also focused on the security challenges facing the European Union. They discussed a review of the European security strategy and took stock of on-going work in the fight against terrorism. Leaders also discussed economic issues, concluding the 2015 European Semester, taking stock of the state of play concerning the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the European Fund for Strategic Investments. The European Council discussed and provided orientations on the digital agenda and the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) report on better economic governance in the euro area.
