EU will pledge additional €40 million in humanitarian aid to Yemen at United Nations General Assembly

On the 21 September 2016, the European Commission announced at the United Nations General Assembly its intention to release further humanitarian aid of €40 million to Yemen. Yemen is suffocating from a lack of food, of water, fuel, and its economy is collapsing as a result of the armed conflict since March 2015.
