EU survey sees happy Danes, grumpy Bulgarians

According to a study published by UK's Office for National Statistics on the 18 June 2014, nine out ten people in Denmark and Finland described themselves as being satisfied or happy with their life, compared to an EU average of 69 percent, making them the happiest Europeans.

At the other end of the scale, just 38 percent of Bulgarian citizens were satisfied with their lot in life.
