EU seeks focus on environment in the post-MDG debate

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are a set of indicators for development cooperation in the period up to 2015. Their review and the way forward beyond 2013 had been started by the United Nations in 2013. The European Union had begun to debate its recommendations for the way forward.
