On 22-25 May 2014, all 28 EU member states will hold elections for the European Parliament. Across Europe, parties are gearing up to go head-to-head on unemployment, euroscepticism and the future of the union. EurActiv is following the latest news on the issue.

According to a survey published on the 19 February 2014, the European Socialist political family was likely to win the most seats in EU Parliament elections in May, boosting the group's chances of also securing the presidency of the European Commission.

EUObserver reported on the 18 March 2014 that voter fraud was casting doubts on EU vote in Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania.
