Report of a hearing in March 2015 in the important ECJ case of Schrems v Data Protection Commissioner, which concerns a legal challenge brought by an Austrian law student to the transfers of his personal data to the USA by Facebook, on the grounds that his data would be subject to mass surveillance under US law, as revealed by Edward Snowden.

The Opinion of the ECJ Advocate General is expected in June 2015.
