Danes ring the alarm over EU energy savings bill

EurActiv reported that Denmark, the country holding the EU Presidency, hit out in late April 2012 at EU countries for weakening the proposed Energy Efficiency Directive, and called for ring-fencing a key article imposing an annual 1.5% energy savings target on power companies.
