In preparation for the end of roaming fees on 15 June 2017, the General Affairs Council adopted on 26 April 2017 the last legal act necessary, limiting how much operators may charge each other to allow roaming across Europe. This measure allowed citizens of the European Union to call, send text messages, use the internet while travelling abroad without paying any extra charges. |
