Formal meetings of the Competitiveness Council in 2017: + Competitiveness Council, 20 February 2017 A meeting of the Competitiveness Council was held on 20 November and 1 December 2017. The agenda includes the following topics: + Agreement on general approach regarding the establishment of a single digital gateway; + Debate on industrial policy, with a view to adopt conclusions on the EU Industrial Policy Strategy put forward by the European Commission; + Competitiveness check-up: industrial policy objective; + Analysis of the way forward for the EU space programmes and adoption of conclusions on the mid-term review of the Copernicus programme; + Discussion on ways to solve global challenges in the future EU multiannual framework for research and innovation (replacing Horizon 2020), including the adoption of conclusions. |
