Commission gathers views on future rules to deter promoters of aggressive tax planning schemes

On 10 November 2016, the European Commission launched a public consultation to gather feedback on the way forward for European Union action on advisers and intermediaries who clear the way for tax evasion and tax avoidance.

Specifically, the Commission was interested in gathering views on how a compulsory disclosure scheme for tax advisers could be put in place.
