Features published before that date are still available via an archive website (see related url hyperlinks0United Kingdom Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn ordered Labour MPs in January 2017 to support the Theresa May government's Brexit bill in parliament. Several MPs, however, planned to ignore the order and vote against it. By the 31 January 2017 two members of Corbyn's shadow cabinet had resigned.

The press was also at odds over whether Labour, as a left-wing party, should give the green light for Brexit or not.
