Barroso refuses to rule out third term bid

José Manuel Barroso, European Commission President will decide in 2014 whether to run for a record third term as head of the EU executive, according to reported comments on 4 April 2013 in Vienna, where he was on an official visit.

President Barroso also reiterated his call to major European political parties to put forward a candidate for Commission president in European elections in June 2014.
