Analyst: Bulgaria and Romania’s EU accession ‘was right’

French researcher François Frison-Roche of the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) a leading French researcher said in an analysis that the decision to take Bulgaria and Romania into the European Union in 2007 was the right one, although some argue that the two countries were unprepared.

This and the DW feature (see related url) marked the 5th anniversary of the two countries joining the EU.
