The European Commission published the Autumn Consumer Markets Scoreboard in October 2010, ranking 50 consumer markets according to how well they work for consumers.

According to the Scoreboard, three services markets consistently had the lowest scores regardless of whether the size of the member state is taken into account or not. The three worst-performing goods markets were second-hand cars, clothing and footwear, and meat.
