The European Commission adopted on 12 April 2017 the eleventh progress report on the European Union's emergency relocation and resettlement scheme.

The report highlights the steady progress undertaken by the member states on relocation, while stressing out that more efforts were seen as necessary. On resettlement, member states reportedly continued to make significant progress.

To help improve the relocation and resettlement process, this document also included targeted recommendations for member states.
